What does Hua Dan do?
Hua Dan aims to improve people’s ability to cope with the difficulties and problems in life through interactive and inspiring theatre training. We improve personal soft skills, intercultural communication, we expand creative thinking, we can build confidence and create team spirit.
Is Hua Dan an organisation for Traditional Chinese Opera?
Hua Dan is not an organisation of singing Beijing Opera. Our methods include: improvisation, Forum theatre (developed by Brazilian theatre director Augusto Boal), Playback and theatrical activities and games. We also integrate music, storytelling, dance, music and painting into our workshops.
How can we join Hua Dan?
The most important thing is to be inspired by the values of Hua Dan.
In addition to the Children’s Education Programme, Women Empowerment Programme and Consultancy Programme, will you have other programmes in the future?
Hua Dan hopes to have other programmes for more people in need, if resources are available.
What can I gain from the Hua Dan workshops?
Learn more about yourself and others, find your hidden talents and passions! You can improve your personal soft skills such as communication and self-expression.
How can I support Hua Dan?
Material support, e.g voice recorders, projectors, whiteboard pens, paper, printers + ink, video cameras, cameras, phones, computers and locations can help us to successfully complete our projects!
